Step 1

We Gather Publicly Available Data

City and county health departments may publish restaurant inspection results through public data portals. Our automated pipeline connects to 1 cities and periodically pulls available inspection records.

Step 2

We Show Each City's Publicly Reported Result

bitezzz displays each city's publicly reported inspection result (Pass/Fail, Grade A/B/C), or whatever language the local health department uses, as it appears in that city's public records. Each restaurant's marker also shows a health estimate currently based on the number of violations recorded during a recent inspection. This estimate may incorporate additional criteria from the inspection record in the future. It is not a health certificate, safety certification, or endorsement by any government agency. It is an informational estimate derived solely from publicly available data and may not reflect current conditions.

Transparent Data, Public Records

We do not accept payments from restaurants. We do not sell user data. Every inspection result you see is sourced directly from publicly available health department records. Results are not a current safety certification and should not be the sole basis for dining decisions.
